how long does the grooming take?

We typically ask for 3-4 hours with your dog, and 30-75 minutes for cats.

There are a lot of variables at play when working with animals, and these times are meant to be used a rough guide. Please feel free to call your groomer to check on the status of your pet at any time.

Do I need an appointment?

During our walk in nail trim times, we can provide some individual services such as ear cleaning and glad expression. All bath and grooming services do require an appointment to be booked ahead of time.

do you havne any openings today?

Probably not. We generally book out between 4 and 8 weeks in advance, and have a lengthy cancelation list at any given time.

can we keep her/his hair long?

That depends entirely on your pet’s coat condition at the time of the appointment. Our groomers are experienced in dematting techniques which cause minimal pain for your pet, however if there is severe matting it may be necessary to shave the matted and damaged coat for your pet’s comfort and health. Tightly matted hair can cause skin irritation and bruising, and is sometimes difficult to spot when it occurs at the skin level. All of our groomers are highly capable with longer cuts, including advanced scissor work. These are only possible when the coat can be completely combed through from the skin level. We would be happy to work with you on developing a grooming schedule and demonstrating home coat care methods to make your dream haircut a reality!
